Am I able to extend my reservation after I've already started my trip?

Yes, in most cases, you can extend your reservation for an extra day if you need to; however, because we are a peer-to-peer business, you will not be able to extend your trip if the owner’s reservation ends during the requested extension time.

To check if your trip can be extended, visit the Avail Car Sharing app. If you do not extend the trip and return the vehicle more than two hours late, you will be charged 2x the daily price. Visit the Avail Car Sharing app to see if your trip can be extended.

If you extend your reservation, you will be charged the active reservation price, which may differ from the daily price at the time of your original reservation.
