Why do I need to have collision and comprehensive coverage on my personal auto policy?

Avail’s Allstate policy will serve as the primary insurance coverage and an owner's personal policy will not be used while their vehicle is being shared on Avail.

However, Avail still requires owners to have collision and comprehensive coverage on their personal auto policy to help protect us from fraud. If an owner doesn’t have collision and comprehensive coverage, they, unfortunately, should not share their car through Avail.
